Billing Specialist

Job Description The Billing Specialist plays a critical role in Sensaria's financial operations, managing the full cycle of daily and monthly invoicing for a high-volume transaction environment. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy across 1,500+ invoices per day, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining clean customer records. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical instincts, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to process improvement. This role is hybrid, 3 days in office at our Morrisville, NC HQ near RDU. We are unable to provide work authorization/sponsorship at this time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collect, analyze, and post data from various reporting systems to prepare invoices Verify production, freight, and tax pricing across 1,500+ daily invoices Process credit memo requests accurately and in a timely manner Analyze billing variances and client inquiries, identify root causes, and own resolution Escalate potential servicing issues to management with appropriate context Additional Tasks and Responsibilities Recommend process improvement solutions to management Prepare and post data for month‑end close Maintain customer records including contacts, billing terms, and sales tax exemptions Maintain and reconcile customer invoices as needed Monitor the accounting email inbox and respond to general department inquiries Provide invoice, credit memos, and payment support as requested Professional Experience and Educational Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting preferred Minimum 3–5 years of high volume billing and invoicing experience SAP experience highly preferred Specific Skills and Competencies Advanced Excel skills with strong reconciliation ability Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency around deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills — internal and external Exceptional organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional environments Adaptable and flexible in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment Circle Graphics + Sensaria is an equal opportunity employer.
