Behavior Technician

We are clinician owned and believe that our clients and dedicated staff come first. This is a part-time, in-person role based out of Middletown, NJ. Our technicians typically receive between 25 and 35 hours per week, with some seasonal variance. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Middletown, NJ, for a Behavior Technician. The Behavior Technician will implement behavior intervention plans, provide direct one-on-one support to clients, and help achieve meaningful behavior change. Responsibilities include working closely with clients to reinforce positive behaviors, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate records of sessions. Collaboration with supervisors, families, and other professionals to ensure the effectiveness of interventions is an essential component of the role. A Registered Behavior Technician credential from the BACB is preferred.However, strong candidates without this qualification will be considered. Applicants who do not have their RBT but later acquire it may be eligible to have their education and testing costs reimbursed by Cornerstone ABA Consulting. Qualifications Knowledge and application of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Effective Communication skills to interact with clients, families, and colleagues Experience in Behavioral Intervention and implementing behavior plans Compassionate, patient, and dedicated approach to supporting clients Ability to follow detailed behavior reduction and skill acquisition plans Receptive to, and able to implement, feedback Experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral disorders is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
