Description Job Title: Server Location: Delta Hotels Woodbridge Iselin, NJ Reports To: Manager, Food & Beverage FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Work Type: On-Site, In-Person Position Employment Type: Full-Time; Union Position Company: Rebel Hotel Company Position Summary: Responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and professional service to guests while ensuring a positive dining experience. Duties include greeting guests, taking and accurately entering orders, serving food and beverages, processing payments, maintaining service areas, and providing knowledgeable and attentive service in a fast-paced environment. This is a union position. Key Responsibilities: Greet and serve guests in a professional and timely manner. Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverages, specials, promotions, restaurant hours, and payment methods. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Use suggestive selling techniques to promote specials, menu items, desserts, and other offerings. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appropriate stock levels in assigned service areas. Process cash and credit transactions accurately and provide proper change. Complete assigned opening and closing duties. Assist with telephone calls and messages as needed. Communicate health, safety, maintenance, and service concerns to management promptly. Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with the position and applicable collective bargaining agreement. Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge: Minimum one year of full-service restaurant experience required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to accurately handle orders, payments, and basic mathematical calculations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
