Marketing Representative

Location: Mount Prospect, IL (Field-Based) Travel: ~3 days per month across IL, IN, TN, PA, and TX. We are seeking a Bilingual Field Marketing Representative to expand our presence and strengthen partnerships with independent insurance agencies across a multi-state territory (IL, IN, TN, PA, TX). This is a relationship-driven, field-based role with the opportunity to make a direct impact on agency growth and company performance. What You’ll Do Build and manage relationships with independent insurance agencies in a 5 state territory Serve as the primary liaison between agency partners and AFIC Conduct regular agency visits, trainings, and product presentations Identify and appoint new agency partners aligned with company strategy Gather market intelligence and provide insights to leadership Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Product, and other internal teams to support agency needs Stay informed on competitor products, pricing, and industry trends Requirements What We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree preferred Outgoing, friendly personality Experience in Auto insurance sales, underwriting, claims, or marketing Ability to do overnight travel (~15%) to meet with existing and prospective agents Excellent writing, communication and presentation abilities Have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle and an acceptable motor vehicle record Self‑motivated and able to work independently Attention to detail and high quality of work Ability to think on your feet, problem solve and find solutions expeditiously Strong networking and relationship‑building skills Quantitative skills a plus Proficiency with technology, primarily Microsoft Office – Word and Excel AFIC offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package to support you Competitive Salary: Rewarding your expertise and experience Financial Security: 401K with up to a 6% company match Health & Wellness: Choice of Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, HMO, or HSA plans, Dental and Vision coverage, Access to telemedicine services Growth/Stability: Over 13 consecutive years of profitable growth, confirmed by A+ Superior financial rating by A.M.
