Automation Field Engineer

We are seeking an Automation Field Engineer for a prominent player in power systems and industrial automation. An ideal opportunity for a dynamic electrical engineer interested in gaining expertise in servo technology, motion control, robotics, and client-focused applications.No prior servo experience necessary. Entry-level engineers with internships, co-ops, academic projects, or initial work experience demonstrating strong technical skills, practical problem-solving abilities, and a knack for quick learning are encouraged to apply.ResponsibilitiesDive into and back up servo, motion-control, robotics, and power-electronics productsCollaborate with clients and sales teams to grasp technical needs and propose solutionsTackle application challenges, conduct product testing, and provide installation and validation supportManage customer projects in conjunction with engineering, product management, manufacturing, and global teamsCreate technical documentation and deliver product or application trainingSpot customer requirements and contribute to developing new application and product possibilitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldDeep understanding of electrical engineering principles and a passion for industrial automationRelevant exposure through projects, labs, internships, co-ops, or professional rolesCoursework or hands-on experience in power electronics, controls, robotics, motors, drives, embedded systems, or automationExcellent troubleshooting, communication, and organizational abilitiesAptitude for clear technical communication and managing multiple tasks simultaneouslyWillingness to travel around 20%, with occasional overnight trips and international travelExperience with servo systems, motion control, industrial networks, OEMs, machine builders, or proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is advantageous but not mandatory.Applicants must be either U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or TN-eligible candidates for work authorization.
