Associate Sales Operations Analyst

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Associate Sales Operations Analyst for a short term contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in a remote role. EST preferred.


Contract duration: 10/5/26 - 11/30/26


The Associate Sales Operations Analyst will work directly with Sales, Sales Operations and Sales Analytics to provide timely and accurate insights to help manage the team's selling efforts. They will provide pipeline forecasting, KPI reporting, and ad hoc retention analysis. This is a fast-paced and constantly evolving sales environment that requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and work towards weekly deadlines. The Associate SOA will possess analytical skills and the ability to work as a team, not only with the Sales Managers but with their Sales Operations colleagues.


Responsibilities:

• Work directly with senior CSM leaders to forecast customer retention, including root cause analysis supported by CRM insights and financial data points.
• Improve reporting workflows through automation or streamlined file structures.
• Work directly with sales managers to identify and collaborate on forward & backward account performance.
• Work closely with other SOMs to share knowledge, best practices and facilitate standardization across the organization.
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Required Skills:

• Experience with financial analysis and root cause analysis
• Building financial models and recommending signals to improve accuracy
• Advanced Excel skills with thorough experience using pivot tables and reference formulas
• Tableau 1-3 years experience in a Sales Operations, Finance or other analytical role
• CRM 1-3 years experience, preferably with MS Dynamics
• Excellent communication skills
• Detailed oriented
• Ability to create and maintain cross functional relationships
• Must have a 'can do' attitude and have an internal strong sense of urgency
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance
