About the Unit The Brecksville Emergency Department cares for acutely ill pediatric to adult patients and operates as a Level One Trauma Center. Primary Patient Population Acutely ill pediatric to adult patients. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio. Current AHA BLS, ACLS certifications or obtained within 90 days of hire. Current PALS certification or obtains within 6 months of hire. Current TNCC certification or obtains within 1 year of hire. Current NIHSS stroke certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. PRN must possess current certifications upon hire.
