Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required facility modules prior to start and annually as directed
• Maintain compliance with all facility credentialing, background, and licensing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the Emergency Room specialty, from assignments within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• 18 months of Emergency Room experience obtained within a single location
