REGISTERED NURSE (PER DIEM) CARDIAC CATH

Responsibilities Summerlin Hospital is a 496‑bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children’s Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU, and a separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology care. It is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center and has received multiple awards from the American Heart Association Get‑with‑the‑Guidelines program. Practice teamwork.” Job Description Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient‑Centered Care will form the foundation for all nursing care. Oversee and guide employees under your supervision. Demonstrate Service Excellence standards at all times. Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a specialty course (or equivalent) within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred. Experience One year acute‑care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire. License/Certification Current RN license in the State of Nevada; current BLS, ACLS (adult patients) and PALS (pediatric patients) or NRP (Neonatal patients) certification as required by department; other certifications as may be required by facility, specialty, or department. Other Must successfully pass any pre‑employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
