You will work with patients in a skilled nursing facility recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program. Active NJ PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required prior to start. Minimum 1 year experience working as a PTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. Experience with restorative nursing programs, ADL training, transfers, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and use of common durable medical equipment preferred. Ability to assist with documentation in electronic medical record systems preferred.

Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility. Shift: Days. Shift hours: 08:30–16:30. Scheduled days: 5x8. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week; scheduled as 40 hours. Assignment length: 13 weeks.
