Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the reliable operation of building systems and utilities. This role supports a safe, efficient, and functional facility by performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the reliable operation of building systems and utilities. This role supports a safe, efficient, and functional facility by performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on facility equipment including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
- Execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot facility and utility systems, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to maintenance procedures.
- Support facility equipment startups, shutdowns, upgrades, and installations.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and logs for completed work and equipment performance.
- Manage spare parts, consumables, and related support services for assigned equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and workplace organization standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and vendors to maintain effective facility operations.
- High school diploma required; technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining facility or utility systems.
- Electrical license preferred (Journeyman level desirable).
- Experience with systems such as chillers, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, plumbing, electrical distribution, and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical diagrams and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with maintenance documentation, procedures, and facility system controls is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of general facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple maintenance priorities.
- Proficiency with basic software tools such as Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Comfortable working at heights and in industrial environments.
