Job Description
Title: Emergency Department - Oncology

Schedule: 12-hour nights

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 14 weeks

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience
- At least 1 year of travel RN experience
- Current acute care experience in the specialty applied to
- EPIC charting experience
- Required certifications: BCLS/BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Proficient in IV starts and maintenance, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, phlebotomy, and management of ventilated patients

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized oncology emergency care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, with focus on oncology-related emergencies
- Administer medications and treatments as per standard protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 76 hours
- Strict compliance deadlines for fingerprinting and documentation
- Request Time Off (RTO) must be submitted with application
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
