Step into an exciting opportunity serving students at a close-knit school district near Auburn, Lanett, and Opelika, AL. This contract role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for helping children and adolescents thrive. The assignment runs from August 8th through May 23rd, encompassing the 2023-2024 school year.

You’ll work fully onsite across three campuses—all within three miles—providing comprehensive support to a PK-12th grade caseload. Enjoy a diverse experience, collaborating with educators and families in a district of fewer than 1,000 students.

Key qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Speech and Communicative Disorders
• Alabama SLP licensure and Teaching Certificate for SLPs (required)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• School-based experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• Willing to consider out-of-state SLPs who obtain proper Alabama credentials
• The director will also consider two part-time clinicians

Primary responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Deliver direct therapy services and handle case management
• Address a broad range of pediatric speech-language needs
• Collaborate with staff to develop and implement individualized plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
