Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 hours per week | Day/Evening shifts, 8- and 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30, 07:00–15:30, 15:00–23:30) | Every other weekend rotation | 1 on-call shift per 6-week scheduling period | 1 winter holiday block (2 shifts) required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to both pediatric and adult patient populations in an inpatient setting
• Perform and interpret respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures as assigned
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care requirements
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled within each 6-week scheduling period
• Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required; pending license accepted at time of submittal
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Graduate of a COARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff respiratory therapist required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with both pediatric and adult patient populations
• Prior inpatient acute care experience in a respiratory therapy specialty
