Saber Power Services seeks a Commercial Operations Specialist to assist with multiple facets of the sales process, including but not limited to Proposal Coordination, Contract Administration, and Data Analytics.



Position Summary:


The Commercial Operations Specialist position supports the core functions of the Commercial Operations Department. Proposal Coordination duties streamline and enhance Saber's proposal process through ownership of required deliverables and focus on ensuring timely proposal completion. Contract Administration duties support better organization of the companies' contract review process and contract database. Data Analytics duties support recurring processes within Commercial Operations as needed to ensure data accuracy within the Sales department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Proposal Coordination

• Weekly Review and management of Saber's quote log for proposals following the coordination process.
• Ownership of the coordination process from start to finish for applicable project quotes. This includes...
  • Initiation of internal pre-bid kickoff meetings
  • Establishment of Delegation of Responsibility (DOR) documentation and deadlines for proposal team members
  • Internal follow up with proposal team members in other departments to ensure established deadlines will be met.
  • Escalation of issues/delays to relevant managers to ensure timely completion of DOR deliverables

Contract Administration

• Maintain / update master list of active Master Service Agreements
• Initiate contract renewals
• Process executed contract documents
• Process new client setups
• Maintain / update master list of ongoing contract negotiations
• Work with Saber's legal counsel to expedite review of critical contracts as necessary
• Maintenance and organization of company contract software
• Facilitate contract negotiations by sending updated comments to / from clients and scheduling review meetings as necessary

Data Analytics

• Assist with Sales Pipeline Forecasting
• Assist with Account and Territory Data Management in CRM
• Assist with Sales Rep KPI Tracking

Other

• Assistance with customer prequalification questionnaires
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in any Engineering or Business discipline strongly preferred; equivalent years of experience may substitute formal education.
• Prior Work / Internship Experience in a Sales, Marketing, or Project Management role is strongly preferred.

• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of dealing with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams at all levels
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.
