- Practice within a Nurse-Physician-based Ambulatory Care Model.
- Manage a defined caseload of adult and pediatric patients receiving outpatient infusions.
- Safely administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood products, and other IV medications.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, symptom management, and patient/family education.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care across treatment, follow-up, and survivorship.
- Support and participate in clinical programs that enhance care coordination and patient experience.
- Complete a structured orientation and training program designed for ambulatory infusion nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Active New Jersey State RN license
- 1.5 years of RN experience
- BLS certification
- Outpatient infusion experience
- Strong IV and vascular access skills
- Chemotherapy certification and APHON
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
- Pediatric infusion experience
- Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and makes timely, patient-centered decisions.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Approachable and respectful when caring for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, evolving ambulatory setting.
- Proactively seeks opportunities for professional growth and learning.
- Builds trusting relationships that support a positive patient experience.
- Location: MSK Monmouth - 480 Red Hill Rd, Middletown, NJ
- Schedule: Per Diem 10-hour shifts flexed between 7:00 am- 8:30pm with Saturday rotation (Minimum six shifts per quarter). Float to all MSK NJ Regional sites, if necessary
