Join our team as a Machine Operator / Line Technician supporting our automated pallet sorting operation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This hands-on role is responsible for operating and monitoring an automated sorting line that processes plastic pallets and cardboard slip sheets for production use. The system automatically sorts usable materials into stacks for robotic production lines while rejecting damaged materials for operator review and correction.

We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who are comfortable working on their feet, troubleshooting equipment, and performing physical work throughout the shift.

What You’ll Do

• Operate and monitor an automated pallet sorting system
• Inspect plastic pallets and cardboard slip sheets for quality and usability
• Remove damaged or rejected materials from the line
• Manually restack, straighten, repair, or discard rejected materials as needed
• Ensure properly sorted and stacked materials are ready for robotic production use
• Perform light mechanical troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments
• Clear jams and resolve routine operational issues
• Maintain safe work practices at all times
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Communicate equipment issues to maintenance and leadership as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and manual material handling
• Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment

• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
• Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and stay productive in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Commitment to workplace safety

Training Schedule

All new hires will complete approximately 4 weeks of paid training on day shift (Monday–Friday) to learn equipment operation, troubleshooting, safety expectations, and quality standards.

Regular Schedule After Training

After training, employees will transition to a rotating 12-hour shift schedule consisting of:

• Three 12-hour shifts
• One 6-hour shift each week
  (42 hours per week )

This rotating schedule includes every other weekend .

Example shifts may include day or night rotation depending on business needs.
