Aegis is partnered with a global, family-owned manufacturer that specializes in environmentally friendly powder coating solutions used across automotive, appliance, architectural, and industrial manufacturing industries. This organization has over 80 years of experience and operates a modern production facility in the St. Charles area with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and long-term employee development.
They are seeking a 2nd and 3rd Shift Machine Operator to support powder coating production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment including extruders, mills, and mixing equipment
- Support premix, extrusion, grinding, and packaging operations
- Monitor production runs for quality and machine performance
- Read and follow production orders and work instructions
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping throughout production areas
- Follow all safety procedures and properly wear required PPE
- Work collaboratively with production teams to meet output goals
- Assist with troubleshooting and maintaining smooth production flow
Requirements:
- 1+ years manufacturing or machine operation experience
- Experience operating production equipment in manufacturing environments
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to safety and reliability
Preferred Experience:
- Powder coating, plastics, chemical, or continuous process manufacturing experience
- Experience operating extrusion or milling equipment
- SAP experience
