Inspector Specialist

Job Overview Quality Inspector on 1st shift supporting Circuit Card and Electro‑mechanical assembly inspections. This role will incorporate review of process instructions, drawings, inspection instructions and checklists to 100% visually inspect circuit card assemblies for soldering and coating applications per manufacturing and industry specifications, including IPC and related reference documents and standards. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Communicate effectively with assemblers, engineers, and management when resolving quality issues. Qualifications Strong background in the manufacturing of printed circuit card assemblies of various complexity. Minimum 3 years experience performing visual inspections of solder, bonding and conformal coating. Ability to work independently, detail‑oriented, make decisions regarding acceptance or rejection of product based on IPC requirements, drawings or other related documentation. Team player and ability to work effectively with all cross functions. Help lead and train less experienced inspectors. Must be able to obtain a security clearance after obtaining the role. Familiar with SMT and PTH components. Ability to understand and perform tasks related to assigned inspection areas as needed. Prior IPC certification, or strong knowledge of IPC‑610 standard. Desired Skills Minimum 3 years experience performing visual inspections of solder, bonding and conformal coating. Prior experience in using the Solumina manufacturing execution system. Detail‑oriented, quality‑minded and proficient interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC manuals. IPC‑A‑610 Certified Specialist. IPC‑J‑STD‑001 Certified Specialist.
