We are a fast-growing, multi-site healthcare management organization supporting a network of MSOs and affiliated professional entities across multiple Texas markets. Since 2022, we have experienced significant year-over-year growth through new locations, expanding service lines, and continued development of our healthcare platform.

As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for a hands‑on Chief Financial Officer who can help us build the financial infrastructure, discipline, and strategy needed to scale. This is not a CFO role that operates only at the executive or board level. We need someone who is equally comfortable building a financial model, working through an accounting issue, digging into billing and revenue cycle performance, and sitting across the table from a bank, investor, or acquisition partner.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will lead the full financial function across our multi-location and multi-entity healthcare organization. The CFO will be responsible for strengthening our accounting and financial operations, improving visibility into revenue and cash flow, supporting billing and revenue cycle performance, and building scalable financial systems and controls. At the same time, this individual will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, helping evaluate growth opportunities, acquisitions, new service lines, capital needs, and long-term financial strategy.

We are looking for a builder, not simply a maintainer.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Infrastructure

• Build and strengthen the financial infrastructure necessary to support a growing, multi-site healthcare organization.
• Establish scalable financial processes, controls, reporting, forecasting, and accountability across locations and entities.
• Provide the CEO and executive leadership team with clear financial analysis and actionable insight to support business decisions.
• Develop meaningful financial and operational KPIs and improve visibility into performance by location, entity, and service line.

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Maintain hands‑on oversight of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month‑end close.
• Improve the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of financial reporting.
• Ensure consolidated financial statements are accurate, audit‑ready, and appropriately reflect multiple entities and locations.
• Partner with outside CPAs and tax advisors on tax planning, compliance, and multi‑entity considerations.
• Establish appropriate internal controls and financial policies as the organization grows.

Billing, Revenue Cycle & Cash Flow

• Partner closely with billing and operational leaders to improve revenue cycle performance.
• Develop reliable cash flow forecasting across entities and locations.
• RCM leadership or significant revenue cycle management experience is a plus.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Build and maintain financial models from the ground up to support forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and strategic decision‑making.
• Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts and establish processes for measuring actual performance against expectations.
• Analyze profitability and contribution margin by location, provider, service line, and other meaningful business segments.
• Translate financial information into practical recommendations for operational and executive leaders.

Growth, M&A & Capital Strategy

• Evaluate the financial impact of new locations, service lines, acquisitions, and other growth opportunities.
• Lead or play a senior role in merger, acquisition, diligence, integration, or future transaction activities.
• Develop financial models and reporting that can withstand scrutiny from lenders, investors, private equity partners, and potential transaction partners.
• Manage and expand relationships with banks, lenders, and other capital partners.
• Evaluate and structure debt, equity, or other financing strategies to support organizational growth.

Cost Management & EBITDA

• Identify opportunities to improve operating efficiency, margins, and EBITDA while maintaining quality of care and supporting sustainable operations.
• Partner with operational leaders to understand labor, vendor, facility, and other cost drivers.
• Establish financial accountability without losing sight of the operational realities of healthcare.

Systems, Data & Technology

• Improve the integration and use of financial, accounting, billing, and operational systems.
• Leverage modern financial technology, automation, and AI‑enabled tools to improve reporting, forecasting, modeling, and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Significant senior financial leadership experience, preferably as a CFO, VP of Finance, Controller, or similar leadership role within a growing healthcare organization.
• Healthcare experience is required, with strong preference for multi‑site physician practices, medical groups, MSOs, ambulatory healthcare, primary care, specialty care, or similar healthcare services.
• Demonstrated experience managing financial operations across multiple locations and/or legal entities.
• Strong accounting foundation with the willingness and ability to remain hands‑on.
• Experience overseeing or working closely with healthcare billing and revenue cycle management; direct RCM experience is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management capabilities.
• Experience supporting or leading mergers, acquisitions, integrations, financing transactions, or organizational sales.
• Experience working with banks, lenders, investors, or private equity partners.
• Demonstrated ability to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve margins and EBITDA.
• Working knowledge of tax considerations for multi‑entity organizations.
• Experience with QuickBooks and IES preferred.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required; CPA, MBA, or other advanced financial credential preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary starting at $200,000 , commensurate with experience
