Truck Loader (Second Shift)

Description

Streamline Glass, a privately owned glass manufacturer, is looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Truck Loader (Second Shift) to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in our shipping operations by loading, securing, and verifying glass products for delivery while helping maintain an organized and efficient work environment. Please note that this position will begin on first shift (approx. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm), and then transition to second shift (approx. 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm) within 4-6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load glass products on to delivery trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Ensure that items are loaded securely to prevent damage during transit
• Verify the accuracy of shipments against shipping documents
• Maintain a clean and organized loading area
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Assist with inventory management and organization
• Report any damages, discrepancies, or safety hazards to supervisors

• Ability to lift 75lbs
• Ability to operate a forklift, lift assist equipment, and other loading equipment (on-the-job training provided)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
