THE QUICK DETAILS:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: Competitive base salary + performance-based bonuses totaling $110K - $120K/year
• Hours: Scheduled working hours are based on seasonality of Bayer Built Woodworks, Inc. (Generally 8 AM - 5 PM; 40+ hours/week)

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a hands-on, dependable Team Leader to support daily operations in our warehouse and distribution center. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and understands the importance of precision, safety, and teamwork in the Millwork industry.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Leading and coordinating daily operations including order picking, packing, staging, loading, and inventory control.
• Ensuring millwork products (doors, trim, moldings, etc.) are handled, stored, and delivered with care to prevent damage.
• Training and mentoring staff on proper handling techniques, safety procedures, and company standards.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment; complying with all safety policies and procedures.
• Communicating effectively with drivers, sales, and office staff to ensure smooth order flow and customer satisfaction.
• Monitoring productivity and quality, identifying areas for improvement and assisting in implementation of best practices.
• Supporting company values and help foster a respectful, team-oriented culture.
• Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT:

• 2-4 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment-millwork or building materials experience preferred.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience with a strong ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Familiarity with handling long, heavy, or irregularly shaped materials like doors, trim, or wood products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
• Basic computer skills (shipping software, inventory systems, Microsoft Office)
