Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery

Schedule: Days, 12 hours, variable start times (typically ranging from 5 AM to 6 PM)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• 2+ years of RN experience
• Pre/Post Op experience
• PACU experience
• Epic EMR experience (preferred)
• Active Michigan RN License
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Regularly assess patients' needs and provide skilled nursing services as per the physician's plan of care and accepted standards of nursing practice.
• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and assistance with transfers.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborate with team members to update or revise care as necessary.
• Accurately process physician orders and perform the ordered care timely and completely.
• Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications.
