Research Economist
Virtual Vocations Inc
Leading quantitative research and evaluation activities, the full-time Research Economist will influence health care policy and system innovation by analyzing large datasets related to Medicare and Medicaid programs, with the option to work remotely or from the Research Triangle Park, NC headquarters. Key responsibilities Lead and contribute to research projects on health policy and services Design and supervise statistical analyses of complex health care datasets Translate analytic findings into actionable insights for diverse audiences Required qualifications PhD in economics, health policy, or a related quantitative field, or a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience Demonstrated experience in applied quantitative research and evaluation Expertise in micro-econometrics and statistical inference methods Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to varied audiences Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams Virtual Vocations Inc
