Junior Leasing Agent

Client: Real Estate (Residential) Job Title: Junior Leasing Agent Location: Midtown Manhattan, NYC Onsite- 5 days a week. (Weekends required) Pay Rate- $31/hr- $35/hr or $65,000-$70,000 Open to Perm and Contract to Hire candidates Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Junior Leasing Agent to join our team. This individual will be responsible for showcasing apartment homes, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through lease execution. The ideal candidate has residential leasing experience, strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a professional presentation. Key Responsibilities Conduct apartment tours for prospective residents and provide detailed information about available apartments, amenities, and community features. Meet with and guide prospective tenants throughout the leasing process, from initial inquiry through application and lease signing. Answer questions, address concerns, and effectively communicate property features and benefits to prospective residents. Build relationships with prospects, follow up on leads, and help convert opportunities into signed leases. Handle leasing offers, pricing discussions, and communicate offers via email. Create and maintain apartment listings on platforms such as StreetEasy and other real estate marketing platforms. Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and online inquiries. Maintain accurate leasing activity and prospect information within company systems. Collaborate with the property management team to provide a seamless resident experience. Deliver a high level of customer service while maintaining a polished and professional image. Required Qualifications 2–3+ years of residential leasing experience required. Experience conducting apartment tours, working with prospective tenants, and supporting the leasing process from inquiry through close. Real Estate License preferred. Strong sales ability with the confidence to present properties, handle objections, and assist in closing deals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished and professional demeanor. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and utilize leasing platforms, CRM systems, and online listing tools. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and excellent follow-up abilities. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
