Reports To: Extended School Care Site Director Takes Direction From: Extended School Care Group Supervisor and Site Director Schedule/Calendar: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and/or 3:15 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Salary: $15.63/hr. - $23.89/hr. (Based on experience) The Extended School Care Program Assistant is responsible for assisting the Site Director in the preparation and implementation of daily activities, ensuring a safe environment, and monitoring the location and activity of the children in the group at all times. Essential Functions Assist the site director/group supervisor with the preparation and implementation of daily program activities. Oversee safety and location of all children in the group at all times. Ensure proper clean up and maintenance of toys, materials, and equipment daily. Follow all PA Department of Human Services child care guidelines.
