Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring PeriOp 101 completion along with ortho and trauma experience.

Details

• Operating Room unit with 10 ORs
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• Requires 15+ days of call coverage for CVOR, including holidays
• Unit hires both day shift and night shift RNs and surgical techs

Requirements

• Active RN license, TX or compact required
• At least 1 year of recent CVOR specialty experience
• PeriOp 101 completion required
• Ortho and trauma surgical experience required
• CSTs must be certified with ortho and trauma experience
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting
• Participate in on-call rotation including holiday coverage
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• First-time travelers may be considered
