Project Manager - Estimator/Xactimate (New London)

Project Manager Location: New London, CT Work Arrangement: Hybrid (on-site inspections & estimating) Salary: $85,000 – $90,000 per year, plus annual bonus and company vehicle Job Overview We’re looking for a Project Manager to oversee projects for residential and commercial losses caused by fire, water, mold and natural disasters. The role includes estimating, managing projects from start to finish with a Construction Superintendent, leading communication with customers and insurance providers, and building relationships to grow accounts. Responsibilities Provide repair and restoration estimates for project leads. Lead communication between customer and insurance providers. Monitor construction through the on-site superintendent to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Evaluate construction progress and team performance. Manage financial aspects of repair and restoration projects. Identify potential legal issues and review them with Branch Manager and Superintendent. Oversee project close‑out. Represent the company in project meetings. Provide technical assistance and support to all project members. Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing. Lead internal teams focused on continuous improvement. Promote growth and development of client, subcontractor and vendor relationships. Familiar with all company policies and processes. Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk. Requirements Prior disaster restoration experience (both residential and commercial). Restoration estimating experience and ability to write scopes in Xactimate. Attention to detail. Strong communication and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license.
