We’re looking for a detail-oriented Import / Export Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving logistics challenges while ensuring compliance with U.S. import/export regulations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in trade compliance, customs documentation, freight coordination, or international logistics who wants stability, strong benefits, and opportunities to grow within a specialized field. Primary location is Surprise, AZ, with occasional, paid travel to client locations in the Pheonix Metro area. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs (CBP) regulations and internal policies Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documentation, including commercial invoices and export manifests Verify HTS classifications and country of origin for accuracy Logistics Coordination Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, brokers, and carriers Monitor shipment timelines, resolve delays proactively, and ensure documentation aligns with export declarations Inventory & Recordkeeping Maintain accurate, auditable records of inventory and shipment activity Ensure compliance with traceability and recordkeeping requirements Reporting & Process Support Support weekly and monthly reporting, including export summaries Assist with compliance inquiries, documentation corrections, and SOP updates Qualifications: Required Working knowledge of U.S. import/export regulations and CBP procedures 2+ years of experience in import/export operations, trade compliance, customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or international logistics. Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and external partners. Preferred Experience using the ACE portal Knowledge of bonded movements Familiarity with trade compliance systems such as Descartes or SAP Automotive and/or electronic experience a plus Why Join Us:
