Sanitation Worker

Job TitleJob Description: Key Result Areas: This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and the plant environment. The successful candidate will only use safe methods and practices.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Knowledge of sanitation master scheduleClean and sanitize production line operating equipment (ovens, mixers, etc.)Clean and sanitize baking equipment including bins, trays, etc.Operate floor scrubber to clean concrete flooringSweep and mop work areasPerform housekeeping duties including, restrooms, lunchroom, offices, conference room, etc.Discard all corrugated, inedible food and other packing materialOther Duties and Responsibilities:Knowledge of pest controlOperate a trash compactorRead a weight scaleOperate a balerKnowledge of production line operating equipmentKnowledge of equipment assemblyKnowledge of chemicals, chemical color coding system and chemical handlingKnowledge of how to read MSDSWork weekends or overtime as assignedCommit to a continuous improvement work team environmentScope Data: Area of impact – plant, plant grounds, and surrounding area as assignedWorking RelationshipPhysical Demands: Be able to lift / push 50; more than 50lbs will require two people. Able to work on feet for the entire shift.
