Staff Accountant

In this role, you'll be at the center of our financial operations — maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, reconciling bank and escrow accounts, and supporting monthly financial reporting. You'll manage the weekly AP process, track construction costs, assist with home closings, and work cross-functionally with construction, purchasing, sales, and finance teams. You'll also support audits and help strengthen internal controls. Responsibilities Maintain the general ledger Prepare journal entries Reconcile bank and escrow accounts Support monthly financial reporting Manage the weekly AP process Track construction costs Assist with home closings Work cross-functionally with construction, purchasing, sales, and finance teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in real estate and or construction (required) Required Skills Familiarity with job cost systems and homebuilding ERP platforms (BRIX, BuildPro, JD Edwards, or similar) Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of GAAP.
