Directors of Special Education, Psychological Services, Community and Family Engagement, FRYSCS, Nutrition Services, Health Services, and others assigned by the Superintendent

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee district Student Support Services to reduce barriers to learning and promote student academic achievement and personal growth. Directly supervise and evaluate the directors of programs listed above. Work with building principals to ensure effective/efficient operation of Student Support Services within their schools. Oversee the Response to Intervention-Behavior process, ensuring that tiers are effectively established and implemented across the district. Work closely with community stakeholders to ensure that partnerships are established to support student success. Develop and deliver professional development sessions for teachers, school staff, and community partners regarding classroom management, working with students from poverty, and related topics. Review data collected from various programs to determine program impact and assist with planning for improvement. Analyze student survey data to review trends and identify programming and service needs. Work with local health care agency to support school-based dental and medical services for students. Work with local mental health agency to provide school-based mental health services for students and families.
