Up to $5,000 stay‑on bonus Relocation assistance available, including relocation expense reimbursement Company vehicle provided Major overtime potential for technicians who are ready to work What You’ll Be Doing in the Field Valve Maintenance: Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble a variety of valves (safety relief, globe, gate, and control). Actuator Rebuild: Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on actuators, including pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic. Testing and Inspection: Perform shop and field diagnostic testing, "On‑line SRV lift testing, blue checks, control valve testing, SRV bench setting". Test Reports: Complete detailed test, rebuild, and calibration reports and documentation. Field Repair: Work in both indoor and outdoor facilities at elevated locations. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, repair, and test safety relief, control, gate, globe, check, ball, and butterfly valves Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuators Perform pre‑testing, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, lapping, surface preparation, painting, assembly, final testing, and inspection Calibration and testing of valves, related instruments, and process instrumentation Document repair, testing, and assembly work clearly, including cause of failure, actions taken, and parts used Communicate directly with customers to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and determine repair disposition Follow all safety, quality, and company rules and regulations Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Execute work in adherence to the guidelines stated under a National Board VR program Ability to lift to or exceed 50lbs Ability to follow a variety of instructions given in oral, written, or diagram form Bring This Experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in valve repair and testing Maintain a valid driver’s license Hands‑on familiarity with the tools and equipment required for valve repair work Ability to work off‑hours, weekends, and overtime on short notice Knowledge of rigging, lifting, and safely moving heavy objects Ability to work indoors and outdoors in hot and cold operating conditions Ability to operate equipment such as lull, forklifts, sand blasters, seat grinding machines, electronic lift assist devices, hydraulic torque wrench, and power tools Willingness to travel 50% of the time or more Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Ability to complete and pass all pre‑employment and employment screening requirements, which may include background, medical, and substance abuse screenings Job Type: Full‑time Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Relocation assistance Application Question How many years of valve repair experience do you have?
