Accounts Payable Manager

Our client, a growing health services organization, is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. This interim opportunity offers strong potential for contract-to-hire conversion and the chance to make an immediate impact during a critical period of growth. The ideal candidate will bring effective leadership capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and a high level of attention to detail. Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager Location: Hybrid – Denver, CO (3 days/week onsite) Pay Rate: $50+/hour (W2, based on experience) What’s the Job? Lead and oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, including high-volume invoice processing, coding, approvals and payment execution. Ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance across AP processes while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness. Utilize and optimize Sage Intacct and Yooz to drive efficient workflows and accurate system integration. Identify process improvement opportunities and implement enhanced workflows, automation and controls to scale operations. Provide hands-on leadership, guidance and support to the AP team while delivering reporting and visibility into key AP metrics and performance. What’s Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of related experience. Demonstrated experience managing high-volume accounts payable operations in a large public company environment. Proficiency with ERP and AP automation tools.
