Position: LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Shift: 07:00 - 19:30

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing comprehensive care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and established hospital policies and procedures. This role requires a commitment to critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the planning and delivery of safe patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care while maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education.
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills in the assessment and planning of patient care.
• Delegate tasks and patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available personnel.
• Supervise and provide direction to assigned staff delivering patient care.

Requirements

• Active California RN license.
• Current ACLS & BLS certifications (must be from the American Heart Association).
• Previous clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
