NA Global Facilities Excellence & Utilities Engineer

Becton Dickinson seeks a Global Facilities Excellence & Utilities Engineer to lead operational excellence initiatives across multiple manufacturing and R&D sites. The role establishes enterprise standards, governance, and continuous improvement programs for facilities, utilities, and infrastructure while partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance asset reliability and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

Deploy BD Excellence methodologies and establish governance frameworks across global facilities operations
Develop and implement enterprise standards for maintenance, utilities, and continuous improvement programs
Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, and other regulatory requirements across all sites
Support capital projects, oversee predictive and preventative maintenance, and coordinate cross-functional teams

Requirements

Facilities management principles, HVAC systems, and building automation controls knowledge
Experience with energy management, electrical systems, and central plant utilities
Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred
Six Sigma training or certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred
Strong technical understanding of building systems, PLCs, and automation controls
Experience leading cross-functional design and construction teams
Ability to analyze complex processes and assess project feasibility
