The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of a project from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong understanding of the construction industry, and a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities: Oversee and direct commercial construction projects from conception to completion. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors. Meet contractual conditions of performance. Review the work progress on a daily basis. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. Qualifications: 5+ years of project management experience within the commercial construction industry. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field is preferred. Proven working experience in construction management. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods. Expertise in project management software, specifically Procore. Understanding of all facets of the construction process. Familiarity with construction/ project management software. Competent in conflict and crisis management. Excellent time and project management skills. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to solve problems creatively. Excellent analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Interested in hearing more?
