Business Development Manager

Corporate Growth Strategist

An innovative manufacturer of state-of-the-art cutting and shaping machinery is in search of a skilled Corporate Growth Strategist to drive business development in the Greater Chicago area. This position is focused on selling capital equipment (such as Press Brakes and Laser machines), building strong customer relationships, and showcasing technical expertise within the metal fabrication industry.

Key Duties

Lead regional press brake sales efforts and implement territory plans
Conduct live demonstrations of machinery and highlight technical capabilities
Acquire new clients and enhance existing customer partnerships
Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure
Maintain an organized CRM pipeline and track market trends
Offer technical support and advice on applications
Represent the company at industry events and client gatherings

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in press brake or Laser machine sales
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals in industrial sectors
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Solid understanding of mechanical concepts and ability to convey technical information
Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of working autonomously in a multi-state region
