Location:66 South Pearl Street, Albany New YorkProduct Owner Group Manager - WealthThe Product Owner Group Manager (Wealth) provides senior leadership across a portfolio of digital and third-party wealth management platforms serving all Wealth segments, including brokerage, advisory, trust, private banking, and institutional services. This role leads multiple agile squads and manages a team of Product Owners responsible for the delivery, enhancement, and operational effectiveness of wealth platforms and advisor/client experiences.The role serves as a critical bridge between Wealth business leaders, operations, technology, and external vendors to ensure strategic priorities are translated into actionable roadmaps and delivered through scalable, compliant, and client-centric solutions. The Product Owner Group Manager is accountable for portfolio-level prioritization, squad performance, delivery outcomes, and platform alignment across the Wealth ecosystem. This position requires deep expertise in wealth management products, advisor workflows, digital experiences, and third-party platform management. The role aligns closely with Wealth's product operating model, where Product Managers own business outcomes and Product Owners lead execution, delivery, and backlog management.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team ManagementLead and develop a team of Product Owners responsible for Wealth Management platforms, digital capabilities, and third-party applications.Provide coaching, guidance, and performance oversight to Product Owners across multiple product domains and agile squads.Establish consistent product ownership practices, delivery standards, and governance processes across the Wealth product organization.Partner with Product Managers, Business Technology Managers, and Operations to ensure alignment between strategic priorities and squad execution.Portfolio & Platform OwnershipOwn execution planning and capacity management for a portfolio of Wealth platforms spanning client experience, advisor experience, and onboarding & origination.Oversee priorities across proprietary digital solutions and vendor-managed platforms.Ensure platform roadmaps, releases, and enhancements support strategic Wealth business objectives and advisor/client experience goals.Drive alignment of platform backlogs to enterprise priorities, regulatory requirements, operational efficiency objectives, and client outcomes.Agile Delivery & ExecutionMaintain accountability for successful delivery across multiple agile squads and product teams.Ensure Product Owners effectively manage product backlogs, sprint priorities, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.Serve as the escalation point for delivery risks, dependency management, and impediments impacting squad performance.Coordinate with business stakeholders, operations, compliance, risk, and technology teams to support successful implementation of initiatives.Monitor delivery execution, release quality, and operational readiness across all product teams.Stakeholder & Vendor ManagementBuild strong relationships with Wealth leadership, advisors, operations teams, technology partners, and external vendors.Influence business and technology stakeholders to align priorities and secure support for strategic initiatives.Participate in governance forums and executive review processes to facilitate prioritization, scope decisions, and escalation management.Partner with third-party providers to manage platform enhancements, release coordination, issue resolution, and roadmap alignment.Wealth Industry LeadershipStay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies impacting wealth management.Provide subject matter expertise and strategic recommendations to senior leaders regarding platform investments, product delivery, and operating model improvements.Required Qualifications EducationBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required.ExperienceA minimum of 10 years of experience in Wealth Management, Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, or a related industry.Prior experience leading Product Owners, Agile teams, product organizations, or technology delivery organizations.Experience managing complex product portfolios and multi-squad delivery environments.Experience with digital wealth platforms, advisor technologies, CRM platforms, onboarding systems, portfolio management solutions, and third-party wealth technology providers preferred.Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments and utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence preferred.Leadership & Technical CompetenciesDemonstrated leadership experience managing teams and developing product talent.Ability to lead highly complex, cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact.Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.Experience balancing strategic objectives with tactical delivery execution.Ability to make business decisions with significant operational, client, financial, and regulatory implications.Core CompetenciesAll KeyBank employees are expected to demonstrate Key’s Values and sustain proficiency in identified Leadership Competencies.Physical DemandsGeneral Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $116,000.00 - $216,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location.
