Director of Product & Technology

Your Responsibilities：

1、Develop and maintain the regional product strategy, including product portfolio management, technology roadmap, product lifecycle management, identification of new business opportunities and product positioning.
2、Continuously monitor competitor products and technologies, market trends, customer investments, industry developments and manufacturing technologies, and prepare regular market analyses.
3、Build a clear understanding of future customer requirements through customer visits, technical workshops, exchanges with our customers' management teams, industry conferences and benchmark projects — and translate these insights into future product requirements.
4、Lead new product introductions — including launch planning, technical sales enablement, market launch, customer demonstrations and pilot installations — to ensure successful commercialisation.
5、Support the regional sales organisations with technical project support, benchmark evaluations, bid and quotation support, customer presentations and executive-level discussions, and contribute to strategic sales opportunities as required.
6、Coordinate product improvement activities by collecting field feedback, analysing machine performance, identifying improvement potential and prioritising engineering requests, in close cooperation with the engineering team in Germany.
7、Act as the central interface between sales, customers, R&D in Germany, software development and product engineering, coordinating technical communication throughout the entire product development process.

Your Profile：

1、University degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology or a comparable technical discipline.
2、At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in machine and plant engineering for printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing, preferably in mechanical drilling and/or routing technology — career changers from the PCB manufacturing industry are welcome.
3、Solid understanding of PCB manufacturing processes and of customers' production environments.
4、Experience with manufacturers such as Via Mechanics, Schmoll, Suzhou Vega Technology, Han's Laser, Ta Liang Technology, Tongtai, Posalux or comparable manufacturers is a strong advantage.
5、Strong leadership competencies: strategic thinking, product vision, innovation, customer orientation, business acumen, executive-level communication, analytical skills and cross-functional leadership.
6、Willingness to travel frequently within Asia and regularly to Germany.
