Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine layout and installation procedures.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding electrical issues and solutions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Valid electrician's license in the state of Virginia.
Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in both residential and commercial settings.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
