Vice President of Tax

In this role, you will lead complex tax engagements for high net worth individuals and privately held businesses, oversee tax planning and compliance work including international tax matters and flow through entity taxation, and serve as a trusted advisor on matters like succession planning, individual tax strategy, and cross border tax issues. You will work closely with a dedicated service team rather than operating in a silo, and you will have real ownership over client relationships, business development, and mentoring opportunities for junior staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required, master's in taxation a plus
• Active CPA license required
• Approximately 15 or more years of progressive tax experience, including significant experience with high net worth individual and personal tax advisory work
• Strong background in international tax planning and compliance
• Working knowledge of flow through entity taxation
• Strong tax research, analytical, and project management skills
• Prior experience managing engagements and supervising or mentoring staff
• Demonstrated success in business development and growing client relationships
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
