PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT - FULL TIME McKINNEY HEALTH & REHABILITATION – McKINNEY, TX McKinney Health & Rehabilitation in McKinney, TX is a post‑acute care facility providing long‑term care, short‑term care, and geriatric services. We offer a stable in‑house therapy team and excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele on their journey to recovery. Key Responsibilities Conduct screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans in line with regulatory and clinical standards. Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Perform regular standing, walking, occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment – physical demands vary based on patient needs. Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders. Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements. Qualifications Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
