RN Med-Surg/ED Float

The Float Med-Surg/ED Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care in both medical-surgical and emergency department settings at a critical access hospital. This role requires flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The nurse is responsible for patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care. Strong experience with EPIC electronic health records is essential. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Hawaii.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical and emergency settings.
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

• Experience working in critical access or rural hospital settings.
• Additional certifications related to Emergency Nursing or Medical-Surgical Nursing.
• Previous float nurse experience across multiple departments.

• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility to float between Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced critical access hospital environment.
