Job Purpose:- The Front End Manager at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front-end department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining efficient cashier and courtesy clerk performance. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage scheduling, training, and inventory control while fostering a positive and organized work environment.Key Responsibilities:- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.- Schedule and monitor the performance of cashiers and courtesy clerks to ensure efficient service.- Train front-end staff in customer service techniques, cash handling, and store policies.- Control inventory of front-end supplies to ensure availability and manage costs.- Ensure proper bagging techniques are used to protect customer purchases.- Maintain a clean and organized front-end area through a comprehensive housekeeping program.- Demonstrate great communication and listening skills to effectively interact with customers and staff.- Exhibit attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Benefits:Full Time - Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401k, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay (Additional Time & Half if worked), and Employee Discount.Required Education:- Minimum high school diploma- Some college coursework or Associate’s degree in business, retail management, or a related fieldRequired Experience:- Ability to handle cash responsibly and maintain confidentiality- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independentlyPreferred Experience:- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required- Basic math skills and attention to detail- Strong communication and interpersonal skillsRequired Skills and Abilities:- Ability to stand for extended periods- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as needed- Comfortable bending, reaching, and performing repetitive motions #J-18808-Ljbffr Hugos-Family-Marketplace
