We are looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and contribute to creating a safe and efficient environment for our team and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of facilities and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Assist the maintenance team in troubleshooting and repairing any mechanical issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
- Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to support organizational goals.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in maintenance work, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems or willing to learn.
- Ability to use common tools and equipment related to maintenance tasks. 
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and cover one weekend shift/weekly.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and handling heavy equipment.
