Company Description Maryland Speech and Feeding (MSF) is a family-centered practice that provides early intervention, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and pediatric feeding support. Led by an Owner and Clinical Director, MSF emphasizes clinical excellence, operational sustainability, and accessible care that meets families where they are. The practice offers specialized lactation counseling and early feeding therapy, with advanced expertise in tethered oral tissues, oral development, and infant feeding mechanics. MSF collaborates closely with pediatricians, birth professionals, therapists, and wellness providers to deliver coordinated, comprehensive support. The team also develops and facilitates parent-child groups, playgroups, and educational workshops that foster early bonding, development, and community connection. Role Description The Pediatric Occupational Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbia, MD. This role provides direct occupational therapy services for infants and young children, focusing on sensory integration, fine motor skills, self-regulation, feeding-related skills, and functional participation in daily routines. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, and documenting progress in accordance with professional standards and practice policies. The therapist will collaborate with speech therapists, feeding specialists, and other providers to ensure coordinated care, and will actively engage caregivers through education, coaching, and home program support. Participation in team meetings, case consultations, and occasional groups or workshops to support early development and caregiver learning is also expected. Qualifications Demonstrated competency in Occupational Therapy and Sensory Integration for infants and children. Experience in Pediatrics and Early Intervention, including early developmental and feeding-related needs. Comfort and skill in Working With Children and their caregivers in a family-centered, collaborative setting. Current state license (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist in Maryland and graduation from an accredited OT program. Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and evidence-based clinical decision-making. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and support caregivers respectfully. Prior experience in pediatric feeding, oral-motor or sensory-based feeding interventions is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Columbia, MD, manage a consistent caseload, and contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
