Field Supervisor – Santa Maria Expansion

Location: Santa Maria, CA
Pay: $28.00–$32.00/hour, depending on experience

Who We Are

Prime Advantage is a family-operated Supported Living Agency supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in living more independently and participating fully in their communities.

We are expanding into the Santa Maria area and are looking for a driven, dependable leader to help us build and grow our presence there.

This is not a traditional desk-only supervisor position. Initially, you will work directly with clients while helping establish our Santa Maria operation. As the caseload grows, you will recruit and supervise staff, oversee service quality, and take on increasing management responsibility.

For the right person, this position offers a clear path toward becoming an Area Manager for Santa Maria .

Responsibilities

• Provide direct SLS, ILS, and TDS support to clients as needed during the early stages of expansion.
• Help establish and grow Prime Advantage's Santa Maria operations.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise Direct Support Professionals.
• Assist with staffing schedules and coverage.
• Monitor service quality, documentation, attendance, and client needs.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, families, service coordinators, and management.
• Address staff and client concerns quickly and professionally.
• Build strong relationships within the Santa Maria community.
• Step in and solve problems when unexpected situations arise.

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years in developmental disability services, SLS, ILS, residential services, behavioral services, or a related field.
• Previous supervisory, lead staff, or management experience.
• Experience recruiting or training employees.
• Familiarity with California Regional Centers.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Business, or a related field preferred.

Requirements

• Valid California driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Ability to travel throughout Santa Maria and surrounding areas.
• Ability to pass required background screening.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using email, mobile apps, and digital documentation systems.

Compensation & Growth

Starting Pay: $28.00–$32.00/hour DOE

Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), mileage reimbursement, paid training, and performance-based bonus opportunities.

As Prime Advantage grows in Santa Maria, the right person will have the opportunity to advance into an Area Manager role overseeing the territory.
