Legal AI Adoption Counsel (Indianapolis)

We are recruiting for a Legal AI Adoption Counsel to help drive the responsible, practical use of generative AI across a national law firm’s practices.This role sits within the Client & Innovation function and works closely with attorneys, practice leaders, IT, professional development, training, research, marketing, and business development teams. The focus is turning AI strategy into real workflows, practical training, and measurable value for attorneys and clients.Responsibilities:Lead live and virtual training on firm-approved generative AI toolsCoach attorneys and legal teams on using AI in day-to-day legal workBuild practical guides, checklists, playbooks, FAQs, and internal resourcesPartner with practice leaders to identify high-value AI use casesHelp pilot, refine, and scale AI-enabled workflows across matters and teamsSupport AI tool evaluations, rollouts, vendor training, and adoption planningReinforce responsible AI use, including confidentiality, supervision, client expectations, and professional responsibility considerationsTrack adoption, feedback, usage trends, and business impactRequirements:J.D. from an accredited law schoolHands-on experience using legal generative AI toolsBackground in legal innovation, knowledge management, legal operations, practice management, or a related legal services roleStrong understanding of law firm operations, matter management, staffing, and billingExcellent communication, presentation, training, and facilitation skillsAbility to build trust with attorneys and influence adoption without formal authorityPractical, client-focused mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration skillsPreferred:Experience practicing law in a law firm or corporate legal departmentExperience designing learning programs for professional audiencesAbility to explain AI tools in clear, practical language for lawyersApply today to help shape how AI is used responsibly and effectively in modern legal practice.Type: direct hire
