Patient Accounting Representative

UC Health is hiring a Patient Accounting Representative, Full Time, First Shift. The Patient Accounting Representative bills claims electronically, check for unpaid claim status, post cash, pursue self-pay cash collections, scan documents, request medical records and/or provide customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assists the organization in all daily activities associated with the financial assistance function.
• Responsible for reviewing patient financial assistance applications, obtaining proof of income and residency, and making the determination in compliance with UC Health policy.

Qualifications

Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred: Associate's Degree. | Minimum Required: 3 5 years of relevant experience in Revenue Cycle and/or Epic Revenue Cycle applications.
